Halloween is always such a fun time of the year for young children. Kids get to dress up as their favorite characters and go to pumpkin patches and carve pumpkins. It’s also nice for parents as the weather starts to change and we get to see the leaves change color. I have always enjoyed seeing the changes between seasons and you see very clearly the different seasons where we live here in Idaho.

3 Halloween Number Counting Worksheet Printables

The first Halloween printable is pre-filled out on the left with a number. Your child would then identify that number on the right by coloring in the number of candies indicated by the number on the left. Conversely, you could also use other items like corn kernels or real candies to place on the paper for the correct amount based on the number shown.

The second Halloween printable is a blank form of the first one that you could use both ways. Either you could fill in the number you want to use from 1 – 6 or you could pre-color in the candies on the right and have your child fill in the number they count on the left. It could be done either way which would be good practice writing numbers also.

The third Halloween printable is a different take on the previous activity that has your children circle the number of pumpkin lollipops that are indicated on the left-hand column. You could also do the reverse by pre-circling the number of lollipops on the right and have your children write in the number they count on the left-hand side.
