The Best WordPress Blog Themes For Mom Bloggers
After you have signed up for a web hosting package with Bluehost, you will need to install a fresh install of WordPress onto your domain. This is an easy task to complete as Bluehost offers a one-button install of WordPress.
Once WordPress is installed on your domain, you will need to install a clean and good-looking WordPress theme. You definitely will want a theme that is lightweight and won’t slow down your load times.
In all the time I have been building and writing blogs, there are two WordPress themes that I’ve found to be simple to use and don’t require a lot of experience to use:
Best Blogging Tools – WordPress Blog Themes
The Divi Theme from Elegant Themes
Divi is a popular blog theme with a visual editor that allows you to see what you’re designing as you make it. It is very useful and powerful for giving you all the aspects of making a blog how you want it.
What’s great is that there are tons of tutorials available on Youtube and Google that help you to learn how to use the Divi theme, as well as full tutorials available through Elegant Themes to help you in making your blog.
There is also a large community of blog users and developers that create variations of the Divi theme (called Child Themes) that allow you to just install the Divi framework and then install a child theme that is of a design that you like all done for you. It is definitely handy!
The Elementor Theme
Elementor is another WordPress theme that has a large community of users and developers.
Elementor is also a very popular theme framework that has child themes available that allow you to just install and get started with your blog.
The bottom line when it comes to picking and using these WordPress themes is that it looks good to your readers and that it offers the options and functionality you need when developing your WordPress blog.
In my opinion, either one of these blog themes will be great for your blog theme. You really can’t go wrong with Divi or Elementor.
A Self Guru – Best Blog Legal Protection Bundle
As a blogger, you are constantly putting yourself out there. You are sharing your thoughts and opinions with the world, and in doing so, you may be opening yourself up to criticism or even legal action. That is why it is so important to make sure that you are fully protected by the law and acting in compliance with it.
I use Amira’s “Legal Bundle” of website documents in order to make sure that I’m covered. Amira run’s the website A Self Guru, a legal document website, where she offers various legal documents depending on what your situation calls for.
When I started my blog I had no idea what I was doing, but I was fortunate to run into Amira’s legal document templates. They made it fast and easy for me to set up blog disclaimers, terms of service, and privacy policies for my blog.

Best Blogging Courses – Best Blogging Tools
This section contains some of the best blogging courses that I have purchased and found to be extremely helpful in my blogging journey. It is by no means an exhaustive list, as I’ve taken many courses, but not all of those courses I’ve found to be as helpful.
The courses I’ve included below in this best-of-blogging courses list are in my opinion the most helpful in teaching you the subject matter.
They also range in experience level. For instance, the Blog By Number course is really intended for the beginner blogger. It has a lot of great information to get you up to speed quickly, how to start a blog, create content, market your blog, and even create an email list. It also touches on some of the methods available to monetize your blog. After completing this course, you will have an intermediate knowledge of what you need to do for your blog moving forward.
However, when you are ready to go to the advanced level, I suggest moving on to the Six-Figure Blogger Course from Create and Go.
Their course details many higher-skill blogging concepts that will be important to take your blog from a side hustle to a six-figure-per-month blog.
Printables By Number is another course from Suzi Whitford that further teaches you how to monetize your blog. This course will teach you how to create digital printable products that can be sold through your blog or on another marketplace to create a nice side hustle and passive income.
I highly recommend these courses as they are some of the best blogging tools available.
Blog By Number – Best Beginning Course To Start A Blog
Blog By Number is a fantastic beginner to intermediate blogging course. It teaches you all the basics needed to start and grow a blog.
This course is laid out well and is easily understood. A person new to blogging would be able to implement the information and grow their own website.
I highly recommend this course to jumpstart your blogging journey to success!
Be sure to check in on Black Friday and Cyber Monday as many of Suzi’s Courses are usually on sale!
Printable By Number – Best Course On How To Create Printables And Sell Them On Your Blog
Printables By Number is a complete course that will help show you how to create your own digital products, and how to effectively market, and sell your digital printables online.
Suzi Whitford, the course creator, shows you everything you need to do and know in order to make printables and sell them.
She has sold hundreds of thousands of dollars of digital products herself online and she shows you how to do that yourself through her course.
Six Figure Blogger – Best Intermediate Blogging Course On How To Create A Six Figure Blog Business
This course bundle offered through Create and Go has all the tips and knowledge that you would need to start an online business and take it from $0 all the way to $100,000 per month.

It is just jam-packed full of really great information that will help you create a profitable blog!
Best Graphic Design And Digital Asset Tools – Best Blogging Tools
This is my list of the best graphic design and digital asset tools that I use frequently. These tools are all I need to create and edit printables for my blog and store.
Canva is the program I recommend for editing images and creating printables. You can do so much more with Canva than that but to keep it simple I mostly just use it to create Printables and basic photo editing.
There are two digital asset sites I use for creating printables, Creative Fabrica, and Creative Market. Both of these digital asset sites contain almost everything you would need for creating printables. What’s also great is they carry other types of assets for SVG, Cricut, Laser Cutters, tutorials, classes, and so much more!
I highly recommend checking out both of these creative sites.
Canva – Best Online Browser-Based Design Tool To Make Awesome Printables
I love Canva! Honestly, I don’t go a day without using this graphic design tool.
I use Canva to create printables, edit blog post photos, and just about anything that has to do with my blog. What’s really great about Canva is that the free version is so powerful. You can do a lot of graphic design work without having a Pro account which is great.
I do have the Pro account because it allows me to gain additional features that have been very useful for my online business. I highly recommend those needing design software consider using Canva.
You can use Canva completely free here!
Creative Fabrica – Digital Asset Marketplace
Creative Fabrica is just an amazing site! I feel like a kid in the candy store when I’m on their site. There are just so many great designs to choose from.
What’s better is that when you purchase assets, you get a commercial license to use those designs. It is really important to have a commercial use license when creating your own printables. I definitely want to operate within the law.
You’ll find digital graphics, SVGs, full-on crafts, classes, sewing, Cricut, 3D, Printables, Worksheets, and Templates. Honestly, the list could go on and on.
Creative Market – Digital Asset Marketplace
Creative Market is another very similar marketplace much like Creative Fabrica. You will find a plethora of digital assets that can be used for many different purposes.
In some cases, you will find that there are similarities between the two marketplaces, but Creative Market appears to offer a slightly larger selection of online templates. Other than templates, I think both sites are awesome.
These blogging tools and resources are what we currently are using to build our online business. Be sure to check back to this tools and resources page from time to time as we might add new services.
