How To Make Your Halloween Tic Tac Toe Game Pieces Last Longer
If you are wanting the game pieces to last longer for additional play, then I suggest you use either:
- Heavier Weight Paper, or
- Laminate the game board and the character pieces.

How Do You Play Traditional Tic Tac Toe?
Playing the traditional 3 x 3 grid style Tic Tac Toe game is simple.
- You will need 2 Players.
- The first player to start the game places their game piece in an empty grid opening.
- Then the second player places their game piece in another open square.
- The play continues until one of the players has scored 3 in a row. Either by placing game pieces horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- If after playing all available player pieces no one is able to score 3 in a row, then it is a tie game, also known as a cats game.

How Many Turns Do You Get In Tic Tac Toe?
- Each player starts the game with five game pieces.
- The player to start the game can have a total of five turns depending on whether the other player is blocking the first player.
- The total amount that player 2 has is only four moves.
This occurs because there are only 9 open spots on the game board and player one starts the process with 5 pieces. That leaves only 4 open spots on the board for player two to occupy. To find out more about the rules for tic-tac-toe check out this link here.
