From what we have seen in years past, Amazon will begin their savings event early morning on Thanksgiving day and continue until the end of Black Friday.
Amazon will start having Black Friday deals available on Thursday November 24th, 2022 starting at 12:01am and they will continue through Black Friday, November 25th, 2022 until 11:59pm.
Is It Better To Purchase My Items On Black Friday Or Wait Until Cyber Monday?
According to an article from Business Insider, “you end up getting better deals on Black Friday for bigger ticket items, and items that are newer model items. Cyber Monday is a better day to buy older model items or smaller “secondhand” deals.”
It appears though, that due to certain ongoing supply chain disruptions, the difference will be not noticeable in 2022.
Are The Savings You Get On Black Friday Worth The Wait?
In my opinion, yes they are. We have seen from past Black Friday events that savings can start from 20% off and go up to 75% off for certain items online and on Amazon.
It is our experience that deals and savings at physical stores don’t necessarily give as many deals. Again, the deals can vary wildly from store to store and even between certain items.
So if you have a shopping list ready to purchase toys and supplies for your kids then it can make a lot of sense to wait to purchase on Black Friday.
