This next method of dying Easter eggs is unique and looks very fun. The method utilizes three different methods of decorating Easter eggs using washable markers.
Washable markers are a great way of helping to keep the mess to a minimum. Jodi at The Kitchen Table Classroom shows how to dye eggs with washable markers simply. Check it out here.
Easy Secret Method To Decorating Easter Eggs In Marble Pattern
This next Easter egg decorating idea uses vegetable oil, white vinegar, food color, and water to create a really cool marbleized pattern. The vegetable oil helps to create the pattern since the oil resists the water. Sarah Martens does a great job of detailing the process over at Better Homes & Gardens. You can check it out here.
Cool Whip Easter Egg Decorating
This next idea is so neat and definitely one I hadn’t considered using cool whip for dying Easter eggs.
The method is simple in that you first need to hard boil your eggs, and then you will need to let the eggs cool. Submerge your eggs in white vinegar for roughly 3 minutes. You will then prepare a dish of cool whip and 2 to 3 drops of food coloring. Dip your eggs into the cool whip and stir it around. Leave the eggs in the cool whip for about ten minutes. Check it out here.
Easy Shaving Cream Easter Egg Decorating
Dying Easter eggs with shaving cream is super simple. What’s even better is that you only need two supplies to dye eggs. Allyson at Domestic Superhero details exactly step by step how to get the perfect look for your Easter eggs. You will need gel food coloring or food coloring and shaving cream. To simplify dying the eggs you can use a muffin tin to create a multitude of colors. Check it out here.
Volcano Easter Egg Decorating Dye
I really like this Easter egg dying idea from Kristina at Toddler Approved. She combined egg dying with a baking soda volcano experiment. What an awesome idea! You will need many of the same supplies as the other dying ideas but adding baking soda to the vinegar to create the volcano reaction. Check it out here.
